What type of information is collected from you?

The personal information we collect includes your name, address, email address, date of birth & Club.
We also hold medical letters for those members who require buggies.
How is your information used?
We may use your information to:
• Contact you with regard to YSLGA competitions & other events (AGM etc)
• Ensure accurate collection of annual membership subscriptions
• Ensure membership eligibility
• Seek your views or comments on the services we provide;
• Send you communications which you have requested and that may be of interest to you
• We review our retention periods for personal information on a regular basis. If a member
has not renewed for 2 years, her details will be destroyed.
Who has access to your information?
We will not sell or rent your information to any third parties.
We will not share your information with third parties for marketing purposes.
Your choices
You have a choice about whether or not you wish to receive information from us. If you do not want to receive email communications from us concerning YSLGA events, you should advise the Membership Registrar.
How you can access and update your information
The accuracy of your information is important to us. We do make every effort to ensure that contact details are updated as advised & we would encourage you to let us know as soon as possible if your details change.
Security precautions in place to protect the loss, misuse or alteration of your information
When you give us personal information, we take steps to ensure that it’s treated securely. Our volunteer committee officials work from personal computers, using the Internet, and this can never be guaranteed to be 100% secure. However, we do encourage everyone to maintain current antivirus software & take every normal precaution. As a result, while we strive to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee the security of any information you transmit to us, and you do so at your own risk. Once we receive your information, we make our best effort to ensure its security.
Changes to this Privacy Policy
We reserve the right to update or change our Privacy Policy at any time and you should check periodically. Your continued use of the service after we post any modifications to the Policy will constitute your acknowledgement of the modifications and your consent to abide and be bound by the modified Privacy Policy.
