Congratulations to the YSLGA First Team on an excellent win against Cumbria at Penrith Golf Club by six games to one. All the matches were played in a very competitive but friendly spirit on a very wet day. Hopes were high for a fine day with views of the Cumbrian Fells, but sadly the cloud cover increased as the day progressed and playing conditions were challenging while trying to keep everything dry!
The Cumbria team were excellent hosts and thanks must go to Joan Armstrong (Cumbria Captain) and all their team and the staff at Penrith Golf Club.
