Welcome to the new YSLGA website
Welcome to all new, returning members of the Association, President Sarah Arrowsmith and Vice-Captain Julie Wheeldon. We start 2024 not only with a new website, but also with a new name and colours.
At the AGM held in October 2023 it was agreed to change the name from the Yorkshire Veteran Ladies' Golf Association (YVLGA) to the Yorkshire Senior Ladies' Golf Association.
Our new colours will be navy trousers/skirts/shorts/jumpers with a white polo shirt. It was becoming very difficult to source green jumpers, so the Committee decided that we should adopt a colour that was easier to find.
The entries for all our competitions have been excellent and the start sheets for the competitions have been sent to the club representatives and are available on the Competitions page. Competitions will be held at clubs around Yorkshire and we look forward to welcoming you to these events.
There are a few vacancies for some events, please contact Gina White (Competition Secretary) if you wish to enter these events. Gina has a reserve list for those events that are oversubscribed and will contact individual club representatives if places become available.
This year we have two 'home' Richardson Trophy matches against Durham and Northumberland at Oakdale Golf Club and three 'away' matches against Cheshire, Cumbria and Lancashire. We would welcome your support at these matches.
