Dear Club Representative
Thank you for being the YSLGA Club Representative. Your support is very much appreciated.
Please can you update the membership details by completing the attached spreadsheet and returning it to me by email or post by 31st December 2026.
• Indicate all members who are renewing their membership for 2027 by highlighting the rows in yellow. (Membership forms are not required for renewals).
• Cross out anyone who is not renewing their membership (please don’t delete the lines)
• Add the names of new members and send their completed application forms by email or post. New members must be at least 50 years old with a Handicap Index of 35.0 or less
• Membership Application forms can be downloaded from the “Policies & Forms” menu on the website at[ www.yslga.org.uk
• Completed application forms are not necessary for ladies renewing their Annual membership from 2026
• Lapsed members must complete a new membership application form and the maximum Handicap Index limit is 35.0
• Please provide email addresses and contact numbers so that members will receive competition information, eg updated start sheets/adverse weather conditions
• If Life members have ceased playing golf, change their status to Life Non Playing (LIFE/NP)
• Indicate any changed information eg email addresses/home address/contact numbers, by highlighting the text in bold
• Indicate on the form if a member is a buggy user
Buggy Users
• Completed buggy user renewal forms should be sent to Judith Booth (Competition Secretary). Select Competitions > Competition Information
• A Medical Evidence for Buggy Users form is required for new YSLGA buggy users. Select AGM, Policies and Forms > Policies and Forms
• Competition Dates & venues for 2027 can be downloaded from the website (www.yslga.org.uk). Select Membership > What’s On > 2027 Calendar.
Competition Eligibility
Recently England Golf introduced a Gender and Fairness in Golf policy, which essentially means only women born as female can compete in Scratch competitions. Full details can be found on the England Golf website.
At all times, the local rules/terms and conditions as outlined by the YSLGA for the relevant competition shall apply. Competitors will be expected to have read and agreed to those terms and conditions at the time of entry. It is each individual player’s responsibility to inform the Competition Secretary (at the time of entry) if they are ineligible to compete for a gross prize. Details of competition eligibility can be found on the YSLGA website.
Payments
Membership fee is £8 for Annual members and new members.
Please make payment after I have confirmed the membership information.
Payments should be sent to the YSLGA via bank transfer, using your golf club name as a reference and emailing treasurer.yslga@gmail.com copying myself registrar.yslga@gmail.com when you send the payment.
